About Bicknell Apartments - Self Catering Apartment Holidays

These two-bedroom apartments are part of a prestigious new development in the heart of Eastbourne town centre.

Designed and furnished to a very high standard, holiday apartments do not come much more decadent and appealing.

The apartments retain the desirable period features of the Victorian townhouse they are set within, with high ceilings and beautiful sash windows throughout. All complemented with a contemporary interior and tasteful artwork.

One apartment is set on the raised ground floor of the building, so just a few steps up to the front door. The other is on the first floor and there isn't a lift, so more stairs are involved.

Both apartments can sleep up to four people, with one bedroom in each a fixed double, the other a flexible room that can be set up as kingsize or with twin beds.

The raised ground floor apartment has a bathroom with a walk in shower, while the first floor apartment has a bath with shower over.

Both apartments have attractive open plan living spaces, with dining table, comfortable seating, TV with built-in DVD player and brand new, fitted kitchens. The well-equipped kitchens include a hob, oven, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer, dishwasher and microwave plus a good array of cooking utensils.

The apartments are located on Hyde Gardens, which is literally moments from the cosmopolitan cafes and shops of the popular Little Chelsea area. The town centre is also a stone's throw away and it is just five minutes walk to the beach or the train station.

WiFi is provided, along with all linen and towels. Parking permits can be provided for just £1 per day, although with such a central location, a car isn't needed.

The apartments are booked in week long blocks - one has a Friday changeover, the other Saturday. Out of season and last minute, flexible arrival days may be possible.

Talk to the Exclusively Eastbourne team if you've any questions that can help you reach a decision or check out our own website for more photos and alternative places to stay in the area.

Places To Visit

Eastbourne has something for everyone – whether you’re looking for a traditional seaside holiday or a culture break.

Kids will spend hours playing on the lovely clean, pebble beach, which has hidden rock pools that are exposed at low tide. The pier offers traditional seaside amusements and if you’re trying to drag them away, Fusciardi’s ice-creams are unsurpassed as bribery!

The charming town centre has a surprising number of excellent restaurants and a good selection of shops to while away a few hours, including the charming Little Chelsea area which covers the South Street and Grove Road and includes many independent boutiques.

The Arndale shopping centre is currently undergoing a £70m redevelopment with many big brand names coming to town plus a new multi-screen cinema and a host of great restaurants.

There are four theatres in total and regular West End shows appearing, so why not check what’s on and book tickets in advance of your visit? And the excellent Towner Art Gallery is well worth a visit, with exhibitions regularly d and inspiring.

Transport links offer easy and regular services, with Eastbourne train station having direct services to London Victoria and London Bridge, Gatwick airport, Lewes and Brighton, meaning that a car isn’t essential if you’re looking to explore.

There also also several language schools offering English lessons which prove popular with children and parents alike, whilst many international parents will also seek to place children at some of the excellent schools nearby.
